About EUR/AUD
EUR/AUD sets a low-yielding, slow-moving currency against a commodity-linked one, and the resulting trends can run for weeks. Daily ranges above a hundred pips are routine.
Spreads are meaningfully wider than on the majors, so the cross suits position traders rather than scalpers. Chinese demand indicators tend to be the swing factor.
EUR/AUD sits in the minors group on our board. A standard contract is 100,000 units of EUR. A full-lot position moves through a meaningful amount of account equity in an ordinary session, so size the trade against the instrument’s daily range rather than against the margin requirement.

PipDig does not publish a numeric EUR/AUD forecast
We will not invent a price target or a confidence score. What actually moves EUR/AUD is the gap between consensus and the released data for its driver currencies, so the honest “forecast” is the schedule of catalysts below plus our published analysis — read those and form your own view.

EUR/AUD FAQ
Where does the EUR/AUD price on this page come from?
The EUR/AUD figure is the European Central Bank's daily euro reference rate — one fixing per working day, shown with its reference date; this pair does not include the euro, so it is calculated from the euro rates of both currencies. It is a reference mid-rate, not a bid or ask you can deal on, and a fixing more than four days old is withheld rather than shown as current. It is for information only — use your broker's own prices before placing any trade.
What is a typical EUR/AUD spread?
Spreads are set by each broker and vary by account type and time of day: they are tightest during the London and New York sessions and widen sharply around major data releases and in the thin hours after the New York close. Compare the live spread on each broker's own platform before you trade.
How much is one pip worth on EUR/AUD?
On a standard contract of 100,000 units of EUR, one pip is worth a fixed amount of the quote currency; its value in your account currency moves with the exchange rate, so check your broker's calculator for the current figure.
When can I trade EUR/AUD?
Sun 22:00 – Fri 22:00 GMT (continuous). Liquidity is not evenly distributed across those hours: expect the tightest spreads and the largest ranges when the primary session for this instrument overlaps with London or New York.
What does the overnight swap cost on EUR/AUD?
Swap rates are set by each broker and change with policy rates, so we do not publish a figure. Most brokers apply a triple charge on Wednesdays to cover the weekend; positive rates are credited and negative rates are debited. Check the contract specification on your broker's platform.
